Newly Stocked Lane Electronics Becomes MIL-DTL-38999 Compliant
Lane Electronics Ltd. a leading connector company from the UK is now to carry new innovative connectors. Lane has been a top competitor in the connector industry and has expanded its doors to many more projects. Working hand in hand with connector manufacture Souriau technologies to be able to produce these newer connectors. Their new addition to their family of connectors is a series of high-performance circular connectors. All the latest connectors will meet the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III standard. The connectors are differentiated by the type of material they are composed of such as aluminum, composite, marine bronze and stainless.
Lane Electronics has connectors made to order and has the capability to be able to ship next day. Along with the made to order products they are also open to custom connector orders. The custom connectors can only be used with certain types of configurations from their stock profile of Souriau 38999 products. Although the latest connector is MIL-DTL-38999 compliant, the custom orders can be made to be “RoHS compliant, Black Zinc Nickel and Zinc Cobalt plating.”
Custom orders are allowed to come equipped with many different types of materials and additions.
“These 3899 compliant connectors can be supplied with signal, power, high power, coax, triax , quadrax or Eliio Fibre optic contacts . When fitted with quadrax, the connector is the ideal solution when 100mbit/s Ethernet or 15 ? fibre channel is required in harsh environments. When Souriaus Elio Fibre optic contacts are specified, the connector allows for high speed networks in equally demanding environments.”
Specific specs can be produced in large quantities to service any project. They are also able to provide a wide array of “plating options “that are either made with nylon cards or steel wire rope.
These newer components have created a better version of the receptacles that are planning to be distributed to a new audience in Europe.
